PlayStation Store Tawarkan Diskon

Jakarta - Sony mengumumkan diskon untuk beberapa game yang tersedia di PlayStation Store mereka. Game apa saja yang dipotong harganya?

Seperti dikutip detikINET dari keterangan resmi yang diterima, Senin (19/10/2009), PlayStation Store melalui program Game Rewinder menawarkan potongan harga hingga 50 persen. Game Rewinder merupakan program yang menampilkan kembali game-game lawas yang pernah tersedia di PlayStation Store sebelumnya.

Program ini disebutkan tersedia 19 - 29 Oktober 2009. Beberapa game di Game Rewinder antara lain, Elefunk, Star Strike HD, Blast Factor, Super Rub a Dub dan lainnya.

Sony Computer Entertainment juga mengumumkan ketersediaan game The Sims 2 untuk PlayStation Portable (PSP). The Sims 2 tersedia pada harga Rp 165.000 sedangkan The Sims 2 Pets dan The Sims 2 Castaway ditawarkan pada Rp 110.000.

Preview Open USB Loader 0 41 and Download

A new USB Loader for PS2 games is in development. This will also be able to be run from a PS3 that supports PS2 backwards compatibility.

This new app sports a new GUI with themes changing. I made a short Demo of the app of the default interface, changing the theme and running a PS2 Game from a 200GB USB hard drive.

The flashing colors is a development tool to help make the games more compatible, so dont mind them. You can currently get a PS2 version and a PS3 version of the app to test and see how its progressing.

Banting Harga, PS3 Slim Laku Satu Juta Unit

Jakarta - Konsol game PlayStation 3 Slim besutan Sony Computer Entertainment, telah terjual sebanyak satu juta unit secara global dalam waktu tak sampai satu bulan sejak diluncurkan.

"PS3 yang harganya lebih murah ini berhasil kami jual satu juta unit dalam tiga minggu pertama sejak peluncurannya Mei lalu," ungkap CEO Sony Computer Entertainment, Kaz Hirai, yang detikINET kutip dari Softpedia, Sabtu (26/9/2009).

Beberapa pekan lalu, Sony membuat gebrakan dengan memangkas harga PS3 Slim. Menurut Gamespot, dari US$ 599 menjadi US$ 299--kurang dari Rp 3 juta. Alhasil, penjualan konsol dengan konsumsi energi 50% lebih kecil dibanding PS3 versi tebalnya, pun langsung melonjak pesat.

Hadirnya sistim kendali game baru yang mampu mendeteksi gerak penggunanya juga menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi PS3. Hirai bilang, konsol ini memang sengaja dirancang untuk kebutuhan penikmat game hardcore yang menginginkan pengalaman baru.

"Ke depannya, PS3 akan lebih fokus mengedepankan teknologi 3D pada game-gamenya. Kami juga akan memaketkan PS3 dengan controller tersebut dan kamera PlayStation Eye sebagai controller alternatif pada musim semi 2010 mendatang," tandas Hirai. ( rou / rou )
